Tony has been teaching science to my son William for the past 18 months. Being in his class has enabled him to experience a real hands on curriculum. This has many advantages. William has had the opportunity to participate in a small setting and meet new friends while being challenged. With Tony, we were able to dissect worms and crawfish and use microscopes with instruction on using it properly. While attending classes, my son recognizes his responsibility to other teachers and peers.
To end this year, we will participate in a science fair project. This will allow him to learn how to research and develop his creativity while identifying problems through experimentation. This gives him experience like a real scientist. I recommend Tony's classes for anyone who is struggling in this area of their home schooling. . . We started the Algebra I and Biology classes with a little reservation since both of our children had learning difficulties. But with lots of hard work and Tony's perseverance, the year has been a pleasant surprise. The

Allison, the oldest would say “ I hate math “. Now she says she loves math. Alesha, the middle child always liked math and science; but now she just can’t get enough of it always asking Tony for more and more, wanting to advance because she loves it. She is now a volunteer tutor there. Albert, my last child is always exited about going to Tony’s. He can’t wait to tell me what they did in science like dissecting a frog, naming the bones in the body and seeing if I knew them also. The experiments are a really big highlight for him. My husband and I remember doing these projects in high school and college.
The one to one attention they receive from both Tony and Mrs. Cathy at the Sunshine Learning Center is invaluable. They truly care and love our children.
